BioMOBY

BioMOBY web services are a technology targeted to ease interoperability between biological data hosts and analytical services. This type of web services is mostly consumed by computer programmes to send and retrieve scientific data for analysis.

BioMOBY services are generally light weight and are suited for chaining in workflows. This technology has been selected as the main web service sharing media in the GCP.

BioMOBY can be implemented in two programming languages: Perl and Java. There are several MOBY clients that allow users to discover implemented web services. Documentation is available for the Perl and Java variants of this web service technology.

Please provide feedback on the design, suggested features or problems and errors you might discover to Milko A. Skofic at Bioversity International.
